Bedrooms

The house has 5 double/twin bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 people. The are two doubles with ensuite shower rooms, one bedroom with zip&link twin beds that can be made into a superking double (also with ensuite shower) and two twin rooms which share a bathroom.

Living space

The main living space in the house is on the first floor, to maximise the wonderful views across Falmouth. There is a stunning kitchen - dining room leading onto the large balcony and a beautifully decorated sitting room, also with wonderful views. A second TV Room/Snug is in the basement

The Harbour

Falmouth has the third largest natural harbour in the world. The harbour provides access to Carrick Roads - one of the most popular sailing and watersports areas in the country. Whether you want to take part or just watch the boats from the balcony, there are plenty of opportunities for all. There are regular ferries across to St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula, as well as several other boat trips available from Princes of Wales pier (10 minutes walk from the house) .

Beaches

Falmouth has several stunning beaches - the hip, active Gyllngvase, as well as Castle Beach and nearby Swanpool and Maenporth. They offer lovely swimming and numerous activities from stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking to swimming and rock-pooling. There are some excellent cafes nearby these beaches. If you are keen to surf, several North Coast beaches, such as Porthtowan and Gwithian are within a half hour drive.

Activities

Falmouth is rich in history from its era as a leading port for the Packet Trade. The National Maritime Museum is a first rate museum and has excellent exhibitions. In addition to watersports, there is excellent walking available on the South West Coast Path which goes through Falmouth, as well as some wonderful world-famous gardens nearby. Falmouth is also a food lover’s heaven. There are numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs offering a wonderful selection of delicious food and drink.
